Specialty Admixtures

NCA (Super Set)  = Non-Chloride Accelerator

Faster set time & early strength gain
Will not corrode reinforcing steel
Ordered by Percent% (0.5% - 2.0%)

HE (High Early) = Chloride Based Accelerator

Faster set time & early strength gain
Should not be used with reinforcing steel
Ordered by Percent% (0.5% - 2.0%)

Mid Range Water Reducer (KB-1200)

Less water needed for a given slump
Increase slump & workability without additional water
Has good finishing characteristics and will not retard the set time
Order Midrange when you want a 6" slump (Standard concrete is batched at a 4" slump)

Superplasticizer (Melchem)

Less water needed for a given slump
Increase slump & workability without additional water
Has good finishing characteristics and will not retard the set time
Usually added on site to take a 3" slump to a 7"-8" slump

VMA (Viscosity Modifying Admixture)

Improves the viscosity and finishability of concrete
Highly recommended on dry windy days

RENU (Hydration Stabilizing Admixture)

Postpones the set of concrete for a predictable period of time
Works great in hot weather & extended haul times

FIBERS (Polymesh Fibrillated 1.5lb/ CY Fibres)

Low cost alternative to light duty wire mesh reinforcement
Will control shrinkage and thermal cracking
Increases impact resistance
Will not rust or corrode

Here are some specs you will want to keep in mind when ordering concrete, to ensure SVR's trucks will fit on your site.

Length: 35 feet
Width: 9 feet-6 inches
Height: 13 feet
Weight (with 10 yard load): 72,500 lbs
Weight (empty): 32,500 lbs
Turn Radius: 37 feet
Maximum Chute Length: 16 feet, no extra chutes will be added due to the strength limits of the hydraulics.
